Cassella was a major German chemical and pharmaceutical company historically based in Frankfurt, known for its significant contributions to the dye and pharmaceutical industries. The firm was acquired by Hoechst AG in 1925 and later integrated into the successor companies of the IG Farben conglomerate, eventually ceasing to operate as an independent brand.
