What AltScout is
AltScout is a public, no-login directory of European alternatives to global brands, where each alternative is audited against a set of sovereignty and ethics checks. It is operated by Mavaria, s. r. o. (IČO 57 191 883), based at Tulská 1683/11, 010 08 Žilina, Slovakia. Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@mavaria.sk.

The listings, scores and audit checks on AltScout are provided for general information. They are not professional, legal, financial or business advice, and a listing is not an endorsement or recommendation of any company. You should make your own assessment and verify anything independently before relying on it for any decision that matters to you.
Accuracy of the information
Much of our data is compiled from third-party public sources, including Wikidata and the GLEIF LEI registry. That information can be incomplete, out of date or incorrect, and companies change over time. We do our best to keep the directory accurate, but we don't guarantee that any result shown is correct. Our content & intellectual property
The original content, design, and the compiled and curated dataset that make up AltScout belong to us. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, redistribute or otherwise exploit them without our permission. This does not affect the underlying public source data, which remains subject to its own upstream licences (such as those of Wikidata and GLEIF).
Availability of the service
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time - for maintenance, security, or any other reason - without notice. We're not responsible for any unavailability, or for factors outside our control that affect your access.
Changes to these terms
We review these terms periodically and may update them as the site evolves. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes relating to them or to your use of AltScout fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Slovak Republic.
