Copșa Mică works, historically known as Sometra, is an industrial complex located in Romania that primarily operated in the non-ferrous metal smelting and refining sector. Founded in 1939, the site became known for significant environmental challenges before suspending its primary metallurgical production activities in the mid-2000s.
