Ganz-MÁVAG

Ganz-MÁVAG was a major Hungarian state-owned heavy industry enterprise formed through the merger of Ganz Works and MÁVAG in 1959. The company was primarily known for manufacturing railway locomotives, rolling stock, and heavy machinery before it ceased operations and was liquidated following the political changes in Hungary in the early 1990s.
