Hotchkiss et Cie was a historic French industrial company originally established by American businessman Benjamin B. Hotchkiss, specializing in armaments, machine guns, and later automotive manufacturing. The brand is currently defunct, as it ceased all independent operations in the mid-20th century following a merger and subsequent acquisition by Brandt.
