IG Farben

IG Farben was a German chemical and pharmaceutical conglomerate formed in 1925 through the merger of several chemical companies, which became notorious for its role in the Holocaust and its involvement with Nazi Germany. The company was dissolved by the Allied powers after World War II, though its legal successor, IG Farben i.L., continued to exist for liquidation purposes until 2012.
