Industrie Merloni was a prominent Italian conglomerate founded by Aristide Merloni, primarily recognized for its role in the domestic appliance industry. The company eventually evolved into separate entities, most notably Merloni Elettrodomestici, which later rebranded as Indesit Company before being acquired by Whirlpool.
