Istituto per la Ricostruzione Industriale (IRI) was a state-owned holding company established by the Italian government to manage and restructure industrial and financial assets during the Great Depression. It functioned as the primary vehicle for Italian state intervention in the economy until its dissolution and privatization process completed in 2002.
