L'Union d'Électricité

L'Union d'Électricité was a significant French electricity generation and distribution company formed in 1919 through the merger of several power entities. It played a major role in the consolidation of the French electrical grid before being nationalized in 1946 to form the foundation of Électricité de France (EDF).
