Memphis Group

The Memphis Group was an influential Italian design and architecture collective founded by Ettore Sottsass in 1981, known for its postmodern furniture, fabrics, and ceramics featuring colorful, asymmetrical shapes. The group disbanded in 1987, but its stylistic legacy continues to be managed through licensing and archival exhibitions by Memphis S.r.l., based in Milan.
