Mozambique Company

The Mozambique Company (Companhia de Moçambique) was a Portuguese chartered company established in 1891 to administer and exploit territory in Portuguese East Africa. The entity ceased its administrative operations in 1942 following the expiration of its charter and the transition of the territory to direct state control.
