National Hydrocarbons Institute
The National Hydrocarbons Institute (Instituto Nacional de Hidrocarburos) was a Spanish state-owned holding company established in 1981 to manage public interests in the energy and hydrocarbon sectors. It served as the precursor to the modern energy corporation Repsol and was dissolved in 1995 as part of the privatization of state-owned enterprises.
