Rhône-Poulenc
Rhône-Poulenc was a major French chemical and pharmaceutical conglomerate formed through the 1928 merger of Société des Usines Chimiques du Rhône and Établissements Poulenc Frères. Following a series of divestments and the 1999 merger with Hoechst AG to form Aventis, the brand's pharmaceutical assets were subsequently integrated into Sanofi.
